So, here’s what I’m thinkin.’ Dump the graphic crap of homeshots of people doing shootouts with the undead in boilerrooms, etc., that stuff is 80’s apocalyptic movie crap. BUT…keep running the bad news from the obscure news sources. That lends a better “things suck, but let’s have a discussion on how if things suck, G-d still loves us.”

Just dump references to a movie that didn’t make it. It’s lame. And embarrassing. You’ve got potential for great philosophic discussion here, but it’s dying, because the original premise has become trite.

Looks as tho we will have to converse here for now, I can’t get an email thru to you. However, I did get your recent email, my reply failed, tho. Anyway, Admin. sent a reply that they would check things out and get back to us, they have the same email addy for you as I do, I replied and warned them that if they did mail you, it may not get thru. They may get back to you(us) here, too, as I gave them the link. My moderating skills are improving due to the lessons I’m taking at my other site. I can do things there I can’t do here, I’m thinking of asking Admin. for additional tasking abilities, some of them could be valuable here, especially when business increases… Speaking of which, with ratboy gone these past few months, we could maybe use another moderator here, especially when it gets busier (and I fully intend to find a way to make it busier!). Would you be available for such a thing? I emailed this request to you, but, so am bringing it up here. Yes, you are right, we would only be able to have PM capacity among mods at this time. Remember, it’s a completely open site, it has to remain that way due to minors being on the site. Their guardians have to be able to see the entire site at anytime so that they know it’s an OK place for kids to be. Even though we are a little adult-oriented at times…lol As an open site though, we moderators do need more control here. We should have our own (invisible) forum where we can discuss site business amongst ourselves (and Admin.). We should also have the power to make any thread invisible where there’s a problem, so we can discuss it amongst ourselves. Open site, yes, but site business and mechanics for running the site do not need to be in open forums. There is a lot that I want to do here and a lot that I want to be able to do. We also need a third active mod to replace rb. We are not on the site as much as we used to be (AND I hate admitting that in an open forum, see what I mean?). Even though it’s not very busy right now, that will change, and we will need at least three for sure then.

I need to contact Admin. about this stuff, but am saving up a list to give them all at one time. I will submit your name at that time because if they make the changes I want, they can add you as a mod at the same time. Or, at the very least, add you, if they can’t do the other stuff.
