Well… I had a feeling I’d see some rant like this eventually, just didn’t expect it to be so soon.

I’m not going to read over every single topic and post here – I don’t have that kind of time trying to raise two children on my own and figuring out how to make ends meet and getting laid off last week sure isn’t helping things. However, things are looking up and I’m thankful.

I’ve met plenty of people before just like you kookookachoo, (as I’m sure you would probably say the same about about coming into contact with people like myself), and I’ve heard similar rants and raves before from them.

I simply agreed to disagree with them and carry on focusing my time elsewhere on more positive things in my life, and I think it’s best for myself if I do the same thing now.

I wish you all the best.

...and God does love you, whether you want Him to or not and whether you believe in Him or not. ;)

Why did I say what I did in the first one?
Simple.
Saying “Xmas” does, in fact, take “Christ” out of “Christmas” and His birth is what Christmas is all about.
It bothers me when I see it, and like I said, I had some preconceived notions when I first clicked on the link that brought me to this site and this was the first thing I read on here.

Oh and I love the whole “you’re new” thing. This site has only been here a few weeks so technically, everyone here is “new”. =P

P.S. Please don’t call me “hon”. lol

Hmm.. I never claimed human beings were perfect. ;)

Something that amazes me is taking pretty much anything from a leaf to a speck of dust and putting it under a microscope and finding microscopic organisms there. I remember freaking out as a kid when I was tested and found that I was allergic to dustmites and they showed me a blown-up picture of one. Freaky little things. lol

Single parenting, every day… biggest challenge I ever face and I face it daily. Well worth it, though! =)

Thanks Ratman. =) But I’m really nothing special the way I see it.. For whatever reasons, too many kids are living in single parent families and it’s usually with their mother. Just so happens that for my kids, they get me. =D It works for us. We’re all way better off, believe me…

I haven’t read the first two pages here, only your post PF.

I can’t help but wonder: How can anyone look at all the marvels of life, earth, and beyond and think it all just kinda… happened? Seriously. I would love an honest answer with lots of thought put into it.

I’m new here myself and I love having good conversation and hearing what other people think, etc.

Debating can be alright at times but most of the time I think crosses the line of arguing far too often and I don’t need any more of that in my life—I was already married once! Ha. :P
